BUENA VIDA – Music, Flavor and well-being
(Elementary School)
The Buena Vida program by Cantaré promotes healthy eating, physical and emotional well-being through interactive songs and games in English and Spanish. Cantaré’s recipe for healthy fun includes the catchy cumbia "A mover el esqueleto/Shake Your Bones", the highly dramatic "Tengo un mango tango/Tangy Mango Tango", and an irresistible limbo contest to the rhythm of "Mambo Limbo". Audiences learn about the Food Pyramid and the things that help us to live a Good life (Buena Vida)!
BUENA VIDA was commissioned by Class Acts Arts for their special initiative Hoop & Holler for Health! Using Cultural Arts to Educate and Inspire Children and Their Families to Live Healthy Lives .
